As a result of the conversation with the MICA students, especially Rachel Christensen about her “political dress”, I made this experiment
a protest knit….
The bitmap image, at the left, is knitted using a Brother knitting machine.
The text in the knitting is mixed with a cellular pattern.
Later on i added hacked gadgets, in the shape of hands making (some rude) gestures….just looking at electronic or interactive elements…
